Ransomware is the most malicious virus infection which is affecting users across the world. Ransomware first came into existence in 2012 where it used to fool people by claiming money in behalf of Metropolitan Police. WannaCry Ransomware has infected thousands of user computers across the globe and the number is increasing each passing minute.
WannaCry Ransomware is a virus infection which gets into your computer system from email attachments and when the user try to open the infected attachment, the virus infected gets into the system. When WannaCry gets activated in user’s computer, it starts encrypting any data files present in the system on random basis which makes them inaccessible to the user. Ransomware program demand an amount of ransom which needs to be paid to the hackers who in return might provide the decryption key to unlock the encrypted files.

WannaCry has come up with advanced malware which this time has blocked the shadow copy of the data files present in the computer system. But blocked the shadow copy of the data files, WannaCry doesn’t allows users to recover back the previous version of the encrypted data files.
We would recommend Windows user to install these security patches released by Microsoft in their computer system to stay protected from any future ransomware attacks.
